The DENA Soil Project is a collaborative network of soil scientists, environmental planners, educators, land stewards, community organizers, and nonprofits, united in the aftermath of the Eaton Fire by a shared commitment to heal our soil.
We believe everyone has a right to know what is in their soil, to know how to protect their families, and to have access to soil remediation resources. We recognize that toxins in soil don’t just affect the environment—they can impact our health and the health of future generations.
The DENA Soil Project (DSP) works to make soil testing and bioremediation more accessible for families whose land was impacted by the Eaton Fire to ensure Altadena is a safe place to play, grow, and thrive after the devastation of the Eaton Fire.
